Next up ... I love this one!!  This was for the Formula Challenge .. just like a Number Challenge really, the requirements were 1 photo, 2 papers, 3 stitches and 4 round things ... you add extra but those requirements had to be met.

- I really bastardised the goodies I used for this LO because I de-saturated all the papers and I created the background paper by shrinking a paper and re-colouring it, then duplicating it 3 more times and arranging them like a circle pattern .. cool effect and it met my purpose!

And lastly the last LO I just finished off was a just for fun LO .. felt like using a template that I really liked the design of ..

Okies so that's all the sharing I have today .. I am thinking that I may take my opportunity to do a little Christmas Shopping tomorrow when I have Samuel at kinder.  It'll be a dent in the list and that is a start lol!  Off to get some dinner ready for these munchkins - who by the way are growing W A Y too fast !!! I am thinking a quick blog post is on order today lol!  I celebrated my birthday last Friday and  was spoiled rotten!  I don;t usually get spoiled because I hate a fuss but every now and then it a bit nice to just relax and be loved!!!

DH and the kids got my some perfume, Chloe Narcisse - I had been running very low and my bottle had the smallest bit left so I was so careful with it - now I can spray!!! haha.  I also got a few Pandora beads to add to my bracelet, a gold flower and a silver hanging one.  I got a beautiful bunch of flowers as well.  That night my mum, SIL and I went to watch New Moon - awesome film!!!!  then we went out for dinner and it was just a great, no kids attached, time out. I do not get that very often at all, over-bearing mother that I am lol!!! On Saturday we go to my mum's for dinner and my SIL cooked up a feast and it was delish!  I also got a gorgeous Moroccan  lantern with a candle inside from Dusk - love it!!!! from my SIL and brother as well as a voucher for Pandora (which I spent 2 days after LOL!) and i got a Sunbeam Food Processor too - never owned one myself so am looking forward to inventing and experimenting lol!!! I also got some money from my Inlaws and that went straight to a pandora bead - I got a silver elephant .. I love elephants!! I was also surprised to get a Gift Voucher for some Digi Scrapping goodies .... spent that today and will show off my goodies next time ..... Thanks so much to the naughty fairy that sent that my way .. tsk! tsk!

Today I am finally on the mend .. came down with an awful cold and was fighting a fever all day yesterday - hate when I am sick, the world doesn't stop when a Mother is sick .. just spins out of control!!  So today I am doing double everything because Mondays are my main cleaning day, I clean everyday though - sad fact, but the BIG clean up is on Monday and sometimes Saturdays.  We have a doctor appointment today for Samuel .. poor guy has to go for his 4 year old check up with a complimentary needle jab .. 3 I think :(  I don;t know how he going to handle it and I feel sorry for him but keep telling him it's just a pinch and won't hurt for long.  He seems to be taking it in his stride now, he was worried before but I won;t know until it's actually happened! Wish us luck?!?!

It hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be having my internet slowed down to dial up speed ... mainly because I haven't really felt like jumping online!  I did regret that for a little when I saw my Google Reader though lol .. talk about back log!!

This week it has finally hit me that we are close to Christmas .. I know I am slow huh?! I know what presents I am getting for the kids and I hate the over-crowded shops so I had better get my butt in gear and go and buy them!  Tell me I'm not the only one that is in this situation ... please???!

On Friday ... I am SO excited!!  My gorgeous sister-in-law and I are going to the movies to watch New Moon!!  I wasn't happy with Twilight the movie after I watched it but the clips I have seen on New Moon look amazing .. I am really looking forward to it ... no kids for a few hours lol!!  Can't wait!!

I finished off this layout today and I am SUPER excited by it!  In July I fell in love with one of Deb Mitchell's layouts .. nothing hard about that - all her work is totally drool worthy!  She excels at collage and I asked her if I could lift the layout digitally.  She said yes and apparantly she had a class teaching this layout also because there were a lot of them around lol!!  Her LO was called The Joy of You. Click HERE to go and check it out --- amazing!!!!!  I started to create a digital template/sketch to do my layout and that took a while .. there is a LOT going on on that layout which made me appreciate it all the more ... then I got started on it and freaked lol!!  I put it away in the too hard basket till today!  OMG I love the way it has turned out!!  Thanks SO much Deb for your awesome inspiration hun xoxoxoxox ... I may give collage another go .. it'a A LOT of hard yakka .. but so worth it!!!

Today is Remembrance Day ... Remembrance Day is commemorated on the anniversary of the end of World War I on 11 November 1918; however since 1997 the day has been used to remember those who died or suffered for Australia in all wars and armed conflict.  [  wikipedia link  ]  ..... lest we forget.

I had a surprise visit from DH yesterday LOL!  He came home just after I finished my cleaning for the morning .. timing huh??!! LOL!  And he didn;t have to leave again till 6 o'clock.  It was a nice surprise.  He even bought dinner - and before you say how sweet is that it was because I had planned to make risotto and he doesn't like it hahaha!!!  So guess what's for dinner tonight?!  LOL!!  He won;' be back till late Friday or early Saturday now and the kids have Friday off as a School Closure Day .. except for Samuel who has to go to Kinder so my Friday is gone again .. I have been having a bad luck run with Fridays lately, I hope the trend doesn't continue lol!!

Oh and I would like to share this awesome app that I stumbled upon last night for my iPhone.  If any one of you own one this is a cool app!!  I don't use a mouse for my lappy, ever since I got it I have had no need for it but sometimes it would be nice to use one like when I have my butt parked on my recliner with my lappy in front of me.  So I have this app called Air Mouse and it's freakin cool!!!  It's not as good as an actual mouse ofcourse but it's pretty darn cool ...

I have been scrapping ... I go to start a Challenge Heaven challenge and then something else comes out of me instead .. I think my mojo is a little afraid of the challenges that are there at the moment lol!!!

I really like how it turned out .. that pinkish red really pops with those neutral tones.  I was so excited when I saw the Meaningful Stitches pack by Spotted Dog Designs at The Lily Pad ... I LOVE the way Anne P has been stitching words on her pages lately and now I can do a digi version of that ... if I get time I may even make a few of my own that aren't of the messy look ...

And lastly I made this following layout using the Pencil Lines Sketch #159  I don't know whether I like this to be honest ... maybe it's all the negative space with the way the page is set up ... there's just something that is not quite right with it ....

It's another warm one here in Melbourne .. I think it got to 34 today and we had a half hour power outage also thankfully that was in the afternoon and didn't last long.  I did get a chance to scrap a page today .. I had planned on scrapping a layout for the Challenge Heaven Challenges but instead I looked through some of my heritage pics and I decided to re-touch an old one of my paternal grandfather and add some colour to it as it was really faded.  It was actually in a magazine so it was a scanned image of the magazine pic.  Anyways, this is my page using the Pencil Lines Sketch #160.

I may scrap again tonight but I'm not sure .. I did want to link you to a cute little OTP project that I spotted on my Blog Hopping on Sarah Lou's Blog.  This is something I want to try but I want to create one using a summer Christmas theme.  Call me a fool but I don't like having all the snowmen and frost etc decorations when Christmas time is so hot here lol!!! I am pretty sure I have some flowers in a box somewhere that I can turn green to make the cute tree - how clever is that?!?!  I am thinking, sand, surfboard and Santa ... if I do one I'll be sure to post it here for you to laugh at check out lol!!
